This APC UPS is a well-built and reliable backup power source with some great features. It’s compact, easy to set up, and provides a solid 600VA/300W of backup, which is perfect for keeping essential devices running during power outages. I really like the added surge protection, and the peace of mind it brings for sensitive electronics like our router.We initially purchased it to power our pellet stove during outages, but after setting it up, we realized the stove isn’t compatible with this type of UPS. It’s important to note that this unit doesn’t provide pure sine wave power, which some super-sensitive electronics (like pellet stoves or medical equipment) may require. Even though it didn’t fit that specific need, it’s been working flawlessly for our router, keeping us online when the power flickers or goes out.Overall, it’s a great little unit that serves its purpose well – just be sure to double-check compatibility if you're planning to use it for larger appliances.
