I bought 2 of these for my wife's work station at home. The monitors are easy to put together and set up. The cable connections allow for VGA, HDMI, or Displayport. The monitors have speakers and sound better than the laptop speakers. They have a connection for the speakers but with the HDMI cable the sound uses just that connection.Over all the monitors are reasonably priced, can be installed in 10 mins and look great for work. The back is also set up for a plate to be used on arm mounts for a desk or wall. I would buy these again.I'm very happy with this monitor. I was able to try it out at a former employer's office. At home, I had a larger monitor and unfortunately, larger isn't always better.I like this size of this display. My monitor is only about 24" away from my face and I have decent vision with diminishing reading vision. Looking at a larger monitor was more than annoying, it just wasn't good to use and it made me not want to use my home computer.Using this monitor at 1920 x 1080 (recommended for this screen), and having the magnification set to 100% (Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display = "smaller") is great!I don't do gaming and I haven't used the internal speakers. Can't rate those.I sometimes change the color settings to help minimize the impact on viewing screens late at night (Warm, Neutral, Cool, Low Blue Light, Night, Reading, HP Enhance +, or Custom RGB). This is helpful.I am able to tilt the screen down and up with ease. And the rotate to portrait is great (raise display to highest settings and tilt back to clear the desk), but my old laptop can't change the settings to view in portrait.I recommend this monitor. It's great that it can also go on a stand that holds double screens. And with the very thin left and right frame sides, it would be a great monitor to use 2 or 3 side-by-side.I don't do gaming, for starts. I had returned a more expensive gaming monitor to a store, and purchased this online. I got the review from PC online, and went with it. The price was more in my liking, more of a budget friendly monitor. It was well packed, and came with good directions. (not the case with the gaming monitor I returned.)I was surprising pleased. I like this monitor very much. My only regret is not having a webcam, but I wanted to start small, and learn what I wanted. I can get the webcam later, or upgrade. It's my first desktop, I had been using a laptop all along, so this was my first: I'm well pleased.I like the looks, color, weight: it's lightweight and I can swived it easy enough for different angles to view from. There is also quite an extensive panel to display for different options for your changing your specifics of the display. I'm new to getting this, but I think anyone would be pleased with everything this offers, at a "budget friendly" price.Great value and perfect for my WFH Battlestation! The price keeps dropping since I bought the first monitor! Will buy two more to eventually to have 4 matching screens for my WFH Battlestation (as the kids call it on Reddit)In the photo, you will see 2 of the 4 monitors are these models of HP (using them on the bottom two on the quad monitor stand).note: ( The quad stand , backlighting, bluetooth keyboard and mouse and including the sit/stand desk purchased from Amazon over the pandemic years. )This is a great monitor. It is height-adjustable so you don't have to look down like you do at most monitors! It has great built-in speakers in the back so no additional speakers are needed to clutter your desktop (adjust the default 50% volume setting as others have noted so that you can make them louder).I love this monitor. I use it for work, it has great picture quality and the speaker is great! Functions nicely with my other monitor and lap top! Very pleased with it!I love the stand design where you can raise and lower it by hand, then tilt to the required angel, and the 24" size is perfect to fit on most desktops. Video quality is very good with a fast refresh rate, and all of the expected inputs. I use it for a security monitor and it works very well as one, also used as a normal computer monitor, for which it works great.I have no issues with this monitor. I have purchased two. I work from home and they Do very well. I have mounted them and used them with the stand and they are great. I even put them in a tote and took it on the plane with me when traveling and they help up just fine! This monitor has very good build quality, you can move it and position it anyway you like. It's really flexible!!The picture quality is very sharp and in my opinion it's excellent for the price , the different viewing options that HP includes are good and I always use the low blue light mode when it's dark in my room.Even doe it's not advertised :THIS MONITOR HAS A 75HZ REFRESH RATE (you can enable it on your graphics card options)To wrap it all up I was looking for a monitor for online school, programming and casual web browsing / watching netflix, and I'm super satisified with the product. This is the worst monitor I've ever seen. Not only it looks cheap (painted silverfish plastic bottom frame looks terrible) but the brightness of the screen is not uniform: it's 25% brighter on the left side than on the right side. When you reduce the brightness or set the color to warm or night light, it doesn't apply to the right quarter of the screen, it remains bright white. I updated all drivers (graphics card and monitor), went through all possible settings... same. Spent almost an hour with support as I was hoping they could fix it and I wouldn't need to send it back to Amazon... well, it was a waste of time. This is certainly the last HP product I ever buy!Attractive, height adjustment appreciated, display quality average at best. Buy this for the stand adjustment, but the screen itself was kinda meh. First monitor I've ever set up where I felt I immediately had to tweak its settings. Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible. But I've seen better monitors. I kept it though so how bad can it really be.Easy to assemble. Image quality is *chef's kiss* formidable. Flexible with the tilting and height adjustment. Even the sound quality is fantastic. I would buy a second one as Monitor #2 but my desk is too small. I highly recommend this monitor for everyday use (I use it for online schooling).Exactly my husband bought this for himself, I told him which one to buy. It works great he wanted to give me, that one and I laughed no I have the best already I've had mine for the long time. I only like Samsung or Benq. He likes it so that's all that matters.
