I had to wait a long time for this. I ordered back in March and did not get till September. But it is everything I was looking for. It is sturdy really easy to put together and lined up perfectly. I really like the monitor stand it came with. Thank youNot only is this desk really easy to assemble, but they have amazing customer service. Recently I moved and my car got broken into. The thieves stole a backpack that contained the screws to my desk since I had to disassemble it in order to move into my new place, and the seller was very sympathetic to my situation and sent me spare screws. I really do love this desk but I am even happier that I am able to continue to use it with the right parts thanks to their fabulous customer service which is rare these days!!There is not a single thing I disliked about this product. It arrived sooner than expected. The packaging had a few tears (most likely caused during travel) but there was no damage due to the product being well packed and secured. Not a single scratch or dent anywhere. The instructions are very easy to follow and everything is properly labeled. It includes a screwdriver which was great not having to run and grab one. The shelf that comes with uses C clamps so you can basically put it wherever you want along the edge. Also the the C clamps barely cause any space between the wall and desk as you can see in my picture. Also this IS a reversible l-shaped desk. It only took me 35 min to set it all up by myself. I loved the product so much I ordered another item from them to use as an add on to the desk. I plan to purchase many more items from this company in the future. Highly recommend 10/10. Will post more once I have my full setup complete. Thank you VASAGLE!I bought this desk and a smaller version of this desk from the seller. I assembled the smaller desk first. There are no written directions, just 4 small pictures with some arrows. I studied it carefully and was able to follow along with the pictures, desk went together amazing.THIS desk also only had 4 small pictures with arrows, even though its twice as complicated. Maybe that's where it goes wrong. The last step is to install the desk top to the frame. Even though I followed the directions in exactly the same way as I did for the smaller desk, with the larger desk the screw holes did not at all align with the openings on the frame base. I didn't have time or space to take it everything apart, turn over the desk tops and see if there was a way to rebuild the frame in a way that would line up with the screw holes.So I said f it and used a few #10x 2 inch wood screws and my power drill to screw through the frame holes into the wood top. 2" wood screws work perfectly and don't poke through the top. (#10x refers to the size of the circle head of the screw. I first tried #8x and those were too small, they went through the frame hole openings)Even with my Frankenstein solution, I'm still really pleased with this desk, it's incredibly sturdy, the thick metal frame is really strong but not too heavy. With the wood screws the desk top is solidly secured. The price is amazing for the product quality.I have one general assembly tip that this manufacturer did not include but is true for most furniture assemblies: When you're putting it together, don't screw in anything fully tightened until the end. You'll need the pieces to have some give as you slot them in together and line them up. At the end, in this case before securing the top, you can then go around and fully tighten all the screws, making 2 rounds if necessary.Don't be like me and assume that the desk is reversible! I didn't do my research before building and assumed the L shape could go in either direction, but that is not the case. I ended up with a top wood panel that would not fit on the top of the desk because I assembled the frame "backwards". I was able to remedy this by drilling out new holes in the wood myself. If you don't want to drill it out yourself, make sure you follow the directions to the letter.The desk is very easy to build. The instructions recommend having 2 people to assemble it, which is helpful but not at all necessary. I was able to build it by myself without much hassle at all. It includes everything you need to build it, but you may want to opt for using your own screwdriver as the included one is small and uncomfortable.The build quality is quite good for the price. The wood is sturdy and the legs feel solid. Everything fits together snugly and it looks great when it's completed.The desk size is perfect for me, it has room for my computer setup with ample extra room for whatever projects I may be working on at the time. The monitor shelf is a nice touch.The only real issue I had with the desk is the position of a couple of the bolt holes on the monitor shelf arms are positioned in way that it's very hard to get a screwdriver in there. Didn't end up being a massive issue however, and I was able to complete construction of the desk.Overall I have no complaints about this desk. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better one in this price range. It doesn't include a lot of bells and whistles (ie drawers), but it's perfect for people who need a simple, sleek-looking desk.You get what you pay for... it’s actually a good sturdy and attractive little desk. Wasn’t too challenging to assemble. However all three desk tops had scratches or other significant damage upon opening. One of them even look like it was patched up prior to us opening the package. I called Amazon and they gave me a phone number for the supplier in California, however they haven’t called me back in a couple of weeks now. Also delivery was very late, however that might have been an unavoidable COVID impact. Would never buy Vasagle again.We required a specific sized desk for a particular room. Looking at the pictures on Amazon, it looked to be well built using metal for the frame and wood for the top. So much of this stuff now is complete garbage made from particle board. I wanted something with a metal frame and a good quality wood top. This desk did not disappoint. It is well made and sturdy once put together. It is also visually appealing. One thing to note is, you cannot turn the L-shape around. It is built to go one way only. Also ensure you follow the instructions to a T when assembling. There is risk of bending the light metal tube parts when assembling so don't get too aggressive when putting it together. Once it's all together, the desk is very sturdy. All in all, very happy with the purchase, I would definitely recommend this desk.It looks nice and all... but the first board came in with a huge scratch, the second board can’t even screw into place, ive looked over and made sure i had all the right pieces in their right spot, disassembled and reassembled to make sure I wasn't making a mistake... its quite clear to see that the board has a defect... it sucks cuz it took me an hour and a half to put this together... to then have the last board not work right. Had to put it in the box and ship it back... lost 3.5 hours of my day for nothing... I wont be buying from them again.Sturdiest desk i ever owned. Took about an hour to setup alone, including putting my screens and computer back. The wood color is really nice, super simple assembly, screwdriver included. You get 3 extra screws. Everything is thick and solid. It is larger than expected, so im very pleased. I bought the small rolling tray with that, as a food tray, and it fits perfectly under the desk for storage while not in use. And floating shelves can be put anywhere, there are no screws, only round-like wheels that grips the desk. I strongly recommend.
